Shirt care recommendations
Not only we carefully select fabrics directly from reliable producers in Europe, but we also thoroughly test them: We wash, clean and otherwise check their resistance many times. Thus we find out what we can advise you, briefly and clearly, in order to ensure that you enjoy your new shirt as long as possible.
Cotton shirts may be washed, it is only necessary to know several simple, yet important points:
- It is best to wash shirts in the temperature no higher than 40°C, buttoned and turned inside out. It is best to choose a special programme intended for shirts.
- Do not load too many clothes into a washing machine, do not wring shirts intensively and do not dry them in a tumble dryer.
- Dry shirts on a hanger, with straightened collar, cuffs and button strip.
- Iron shirts while they are a little damp and use the temperature suitable for cotton; however, it is better to iron dark shirts inside out to prevent shining corners.
We do not advise washing silk and linen shirts, because often even high quality fabric may unequally shrink or fade, while the collar and cuffs may lose their shape. We recommend choosing dry cleaning at a reliable (tested) dry cleaner’s.
Shirts from artificial fibres (viscose, polyester, etc.) may be washed in a washing machine observing the same recommendations as the ones given for cotton shirts.
